Despicable Me 4 Dominates

Despicable Me 4 dominated the holiday weekend box office, earning $122.6 million in its first five days and $75 million over the three-day weekend. Inside Out 2 followed with $30 million, still the summer’s biggest hit at $533.8 million domestically and $1.2 billion globally. A Quiet Place: Day One secured third place with $21 million. A24’s horror-thriller MaXXXine, set in 1980s Hollywood, debuted at fourth with $6.7 million. Bad Boys: Ride Or Die starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, rounded out the top five, earning $6.5 million for a total domestic haul of $177.4 million.
