Venom vanquish Flames in post-season lacrosse action

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Venom doused the South Okanagan Flames of Penticton 17-5 in Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League playoff action on Saturday (July 6) at Memorial Arena.

Kamloops has a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three first round series, with Game 2 slated for Tuesday in Princeton.

Game 3, if necessary, will take place on Saturday, July 13, in the Snake Pit at Memorial Arena.

The Vernon Tigers lead the Kelowna Kodiaks 1-0 in the other semifinal series.
