Police presence remains in Brocklehurst after possible assault sends man to hospital with serious injuries

KAMLOOPS — A man in Brocklehurst was sent to hospital with serious injuries Wednesday morning (June 26).

Kamloops RCMP say officers were called to a home at the 1100-block of 13th Street at around 7:00 a.m. Wednesday where a man was allegedly suffering from wounds consistent with blunt force.

Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says the extent of the man’s injuries are unknown at this time.

“A police presence remains in the area as officers continue to investigate with the assistance of numerous support units, including the General Investigations Support Team, Crime Reduction Unit and Forensic Identifications Services,” Evelyn says.
