KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops NorthPaws return home north of the border Friday (June 21) in need of home cooking.
Since winning their second series of the 2024 West Coast League (WCL) season on June 5, the NorthPaws have dropped 10 league games in a row, plummeting their record to 3-12. They’re tied for last in the North Division standings.
The latest string of losses come from a sweep by the Bellingham Bells in Washington State. The NorthPaws dropped three games by scores of 8-2, 3-2 and 5-1.
The competition doesn’t get easier for the NorthPaws as they welcome the 11-7 Edmonton Riverhawks for a three-game series. First pitch for the series opener is Friday at 6:35 p.m. from Norbrock Stadium.
