BELLINGHAM, WASH. — Surrendering five runs in the first inning was too much to overcome for the Kamloops NorthPaws, who fell 8-2 to the hometown Bellingham Bells on Tuesday (June 18) in West Coast League baseball action.

NorthPaws’ outfielder Tyler Glowacki had two hits, walked once and scored one run in a losing effort.

Kamloops (3-10) is tied for last place with the Port Angeles Lefties (3-10) and Bellingham (10-6) is tied for second with the Edmonton Riverhawks (10-6) in the eight-team North Division.

The NorthPaws are aiming to snap an eight-game losing skid on Wednesday (June 19) in Bellingham in Game 2 of the three-game series against the Bells.
