Nathan Lane’s New Sitcom

Matt Bomer and Nathan Lane will star in the new Hulu multi-cam sitcom Mid-Century Modern, created by Will & Grace’s Max Mutchnick and David Kohan and executive produced by Ryan Murphy. The show follows three older gay friends who decide to live together in Palm Springs after a friend’s death. Bomer will take on a ditzy character similar to Rose from The Golden Girls, while Lane will portray a character akin to Dorothy. Linda Lavin will play Lane’s mother, similar to Sophia. The upcoming series is set in the gay mecca of Palm Springs and will also feature a Gen Z housekeeper.
