MERRITT, B.C. — Merritt Fire Rescue crews were dealing with a structure fire just outside the city early Monday morning (June 17).
The fire erupted just southwest of the city toward Active Mountain.
A photo from the scene shows a structure fully engulfed in flames.
While the city issued a Voyent Alert! notice to residents and the fire was briefly listed on the BC Wildfire Service website, it is no longer on the site.
There is no word what caused the blaze or if there were any injuries.
