Police presence on Parkcrest Avenue related to ongoing theft investigation

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP say a police presence in the 1800-block of Parkcrest Avenue Wednesday afternoon (June 12) is related to an ongoing theft investigation.

Witnesses report multiple police vehicles outside a home on Parkcrest Avenue, along with tow trucks.

Details are limited though Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says more information is expected to be released on Thursday (June 13).

Meantime, anybody with information about the theft investigation is encouraged to contact the Kamloops RCMP detachment at 250-828-3000 and refer to file number 2024-18146
