Taxi passenger killed in collision on Highway 97 south of Clinton

CLINTON, B.C. — BC Highway Patrol is investigation a collision on Highway 97 south of Clinton that took one life.
Clinton RCMP say they received the report of a collision between a northbound taxi and a southbound delivery truck at around 12:42 p.m. Tuesday (June 4).
In a news release issued Thursday afternoon, BC Highway Patrol says the passenger in the taxi passed away while the taxi driver was sent to hospital in critical condition. The driver of the truck was also injured and sent to hospital.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash cam video of it is asked to contact BC Highway Patrol – Kamloops at 250-828-3111.
