Two patients sent to hospital in serious condition after vehicle incident on Highway 1
KAMLOOPS — Two patients were sent to hospital in serious condition after a late-night vehicle incident in Aberdeen.
BC Emergency Health Services (EHS) say a call came in at around 10:38 p.m. Wednesday (June 5) about the incident at the 1600-block of the Trans Canada Highway.
“Two ambulances with primary care paramedics, an ambulance with advanced care paramedics and a supervisor responded to the scene. Paramedics provided emergency medical care to two patients who were transported to hospital in serious condition,” Rachelle Bown, EHS public information officer told CFJC Today.
DriveBC reported that westbound traffic on Highway 1 at Pacific Way was reduced to a single lane at around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday. The scene was cleared at around 1:30 a.m.
