KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops man is facing charges, including assault with a weapon, in relation to a large police presence on Tuesday (June 4) downtown.

Police attended a residential building in the 100-block of Clarke Street at about 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday in response to a threats report.

Pierce, 33, was held for a bail hearing yesterday and remanded into custody.

His next court appearance is scheduled for June 12.
