Cyndi Lauper’s World Tour

Cyndi Lauper has just revealed plans for her final run of live shows. Lauper has dubbed the jaunt the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour, after the Grammy-nominated hit single from her 1983 debut album, She’s So Unusual. The 70-year-old singer’s farewell tour will feature a 23-date run of arena shows throughout North America, kicking off on Friday, October 18 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, and ending on December 5 at the United Center in Chicago. No opening acts for the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour have been announced as of yet. The tour announcement coincides with the June 4 premiere of Let the Canary Sing, a new documentary examining Lauper’s music career and colorful life. The Alison Ellwood-directed music film is streaming on Paramount+
