Kamloops RCMP searching for suspect in assault and theft investigation

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a woman in an assault and theft investigation on the North Shore.
On May 1, RCMP say officers responded to a business on the 1800-block of Tranquille Road where an employee was allegedly assaulted while confronting a theft suspect.
The suspect is described as a white woman who’s around 40 years old. She has shoulder-length black hair, is of medium build and was wearing a purple tracksuit.
Anyone with information related to the investigation is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP.
