UPDATE (8:00 a.m.): Traffic on Highway 1 between Chase and Sorrento will remain single-lane-alternating until at least noon Tuesday.
UPDATE (6:40 a.m.): DriveBC says Highway 1 between Chase and Sorrento is open to single-lane-alternating traffic. Drivers are still told to expect delays.
EARLIER: CHASE, B.C. — A vehicle incident has snarled early morning traffic on the Trans Canada Highway between Chase and Sorrento Tuesday (May 28).
DriveBC first reported of the incident on Highway 1 at Lindberg Road at around 12:40 a.m. Tuesday. Traffic remains closed in both directions, but the stretch of Highway 1 is expected to reopen at 8:00 a.m.
