Rivers FC drop another pair of road matches, get set for return to Hillside Stadium
KAMLOOPS — A stretch of four straight matches away from home ended with a pair of losses for Rivers FC Sunday (May 26).
Rivers FC’s men’s and women’s squads travelled to Surrey to take on Unity FC. The men fell 1-0 after conceding a penalty kick shortly before the end of the first half while the women fell 2-0 after surrendering two goals in the second half.
Rivers FC’s women’s squad are still searching for their first win of the League1 BC season. They fall to zero wins, two losses and three draws, good for three points in five matches. They sit sixth overall in the League1 BC table.
Meantime, the men fall to one win, three losses and one draw this season, good for four points in five matches. They also sit sixth overall in the League1 BC table.
