KAMLOOPS — Rivers FC suffered a pair of clean sheet losses on the road Sunday (May 19).
Rivers FC’s women’s squad surrendered four goals in the first half en route to a 5-0 loss to Vancouver Whitecaps FC Academy at Thunderbird Stadium. It was the women’s first loss of the 2024 League1 BC season after recording three draws in their first three matches.
Later that day, the men gave up a late goal in the first half and an early goal in the second half in a 2-0 loss to the Whitecaps. It’s the men’s second straight loss.
Rivers FC’s women’s squad fall to zero wins, one loss and three draws this season, good for three points in four matches. They sit sixth overall in the League1 BC table.
