May is Invasive Species Action Month in B.C.

The Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society is taking part, with a series of webinars throughout the month.

Topics include how to support pollinators in gardens, impacts of invasive goldfish and prevention of whirling disease.

A pair of invasive plants were recently prioritized at a high-alert level — the hoary cress and poison hemlock.
