TNRD issues water quality advisory for Savona Community Water System

SAVONA, B.C. — A water quality advisory was issued for the Savona Community Water System Thursday (May 16) night.
In a notice, the Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) says it’s due to elevated turbidity levels and the potential interference with disinfection.
Additionally, Colton Davies – the TNRD’s communications and marketing manager – says a water conservation notice issued on Wednesday due to the main pump failing has since been lifted.
