Drake Leads Nominations for BET Awards

Canadian rap superstar Drake has received seven nominations for the 2024 BET Awards, the most of any artist this year. Nicki Minaj is right behind with six nominations, while J. Cole, Sexyy Red, SZA, and Victoria Monét each have five nominations. 21 Savage, Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Tyla, and Usher each have four nods. The BET Awards is set to take place on Sunday, June 30, from Los Angeles, with this year’s ceremony having a theme of Standing On Culture. Drake is nominated for Album of the Year for his recent record, For All the Dogs, as well as getting nods for both Best Male R&B/Pop Artist and Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, with his nemesis Kendrick Lamar also getting nominated in that category.
