Former winery marketer Erik Fisher takes the helm at Tourism Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Tourism Kamloops has a new CEO.
In a news release issued Wednesday (May 8), the organization says Erik Fisher will take over leadership, effective immediately.
The tourism marketing agency says Fisher comes from the wine industry, having played a “pivotal role” in promoting wineries across the province, including Monte Creek Winery in Kamloops.
“I’m honoured to join Tourism Kamloops and look forward to working with the team, the board, and our community partners to magnify and elevate Kamloops’ appeal as a leading destination,” he said. “Together, we have a fantastic opportunity to build on our city’s rich heritage and vibrant culture, crafting an unforgettable experience for visitors.”
