Highway 97 closed in both directions east of Westwold following accident

KAMLOOPS — DriveBC is reporting a vehicle accident along Highway 97 east of Westwold.

According to DriveBC, the highway is closed in both directions between Wetaskiwin Road and Back Road.

A caller to CFJC Today, said the accident involved a motorcycle and a truck. The caller also stated an air ambulance had been deployed.
