Billy Joel At Madison Square Garden This Weekend On CBS
Billy Joel shares the latest performance of his lengthy residency in New York with this Sunday’s (April 14th) broadcast of “The 100th: Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden” on CBS. The program, airing at 9 p.m. ET/PT, captures highlights from Joel’s March 28th concert at the revered arena, including an introduction by Jerry Seinfeld before the song “Vienna” and guest appearances by Sting during “Big Man on Mulberry Street” and the Police’s “Every Little Thing She Does is Magic.”
Joel began his monthly Madison Square Garden shows during January of 2024. He plans to conclude the series on July 25. Joel also has stadium dates booked this year with Sting, Rod Stewart and with Stevie Nicks.
In February Joel released “Turn the Lights On,” his first new song in 17 years, and performed it at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards on February 4th.
Joel tells us he’s grateful there’s still enough demand to see him to fill arenas and stadiums after more than 50 years of performing: (audio below)
