TSN documentary to focus on goalkeeper Artemenko, says TRU WolfPack

KAMLOOPS — Svyatik Artemenko of the TRU WolfPack men’s soccer team is expected to be featured in the national sports spotlight.

The WolfPack confirmed on Tuesday (April 9) that TSN is bringing a documentary crew to Kamloops this week to focus on the goalkeeper who was born in Odesa, Ukraine, but grew up in Winnipeg.

Artemenko put his professional soccer career on pause two years ago to volunteer to fight on the front lines for Ukraine in the Russia-Ukraine War.

The WolfPack said investigative reporter Rick Westhead is part of the TSN crew coming to TRU later this week.

Artemenko posted on Instagram, noting in his story his followers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of the documentary.
