Girls encouraged to dream big at upcoming free Brave event

KAMLOOPS — Community leaders, cosmeticians, artists and guest speakers plan to help girls dream big at the annual Brave event, which will run from 11:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. on April 22 at the Salvation Army Kamloops.
Brave Canada and the Salvation Army are hosting the event, which is for girls in Grade 7 to Grade 12 and free to attend.
The day of pampering will include food, crafts, gifts and door prizes, along with learning new skills.
