
Three suspects arrested, school in Salmon Arm placed on alert as police respond to Chase break-in
SALMON ARM, B.C. — Three suspects were arrested after an incident in Salmon Arm caused a nearby school to be placed in a hold and secure.
In a news release issued Thursday (April 4) morning, RCMP in Chase say they received the report of a break-in to a business on the 1200-block of the Trans Canada Highway at around 1:24 a.m.
Police say a grey pickup truck with three suspects was seen leaving the area and heading toward Salmon Arm.
Salmon Arm RCMP say officers saw a vehicle matching the description of the truck travelling at a high speed in the city. Officers then found the vehicle at a home in the 400-block of 27th Street SE.
