Police arrest 27 people after massive drug and weapons seizure in Kamloops
KAMLOOPS — A four-day project in Kamloops that started on March 20 led to 27 arrests and large amounts of drugs and weapons being seized.
In a news release issued Wednesday (April 3), Kamloops RCMP say the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit British Columbia (CFSEU-BC) helped them seize more than two kilograms of illegal drugs, including suspected meth, cocaine and fentanyl.
Weapons such as two handguns, a replica handgun, knives, bear mace and batons were also seized.
