KAMLOOPS — The TRU WolfPack men’s soccer team’s latest addition is out of this world.

Tommy Moon, a midfielder from Wellington, New Zealand, will bring NCAA Division 2 experience to the club in time for the 2024 Canada West campaign.

“Tommy is one of those young attacking pieces that are key,” WolfPack men’s head coach John Antulov said in a TRU Sports Information press release. “He can play in multiple positions and even in a deeper midfield position, so I think he’s going to help our ability to go forward and attack. One of our focuses this year was trying to find really good attacking pieces that are going to help us try to win games.”

Moon joins TRU after spending a season with Davis & Elkins College, a private school in Elkins, West Virginia.

“Once I decided I wanted to transfer, the idea of coming to Canada was very appealing to me,” Moon said in the release. “When I spoke with coach Antulov and learned more about the program, I knew it would be a great place for me to pursue my soccer and my studies.”
