KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Mayor Reid Hamer-Jackson spoke to CFJC News via Zoom on Wednesday (March 27) afternoon in response to his move to suspend the Acting-CAO Byron McCorkell.
In his release, Hamer-Jackson stated the move was ‘necessary to change the direction of the City of Kamloops’.
In response to the surprise move by the Mayor, Kamloops City Council issued a press release stating they fully support McCorkell and plan to reinstate him promptly.
