RCMP investigating after man was shot and left at hospital in Revelstoke

REVELSTOKE, B.C. — Revelstoke RCMP are investigating after a person with a gunshot wound was dropped off at Queen Victoria Hospital.
In a news release, police say officers were told of an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound entering the local hospital at around 6:00 a.m. Friday (March 14).
RCMP say officers attended the scene and confirmed the man, who is well known to police, had non-life-threatening injuries.
“The investigation is in its early stages. However, it is believed to be an isolated incident, with no threat to the public at this time,” Cpl. James Grandy says.
