Mounties raid Clearwater home, find drugs and ammunition

CLEARWATER, B.C. — RCMP say their Emergency Response Team (ERT) members helped local Mounties raid a home in Clearwater Thursday (March 14).

In a news release, Southeast District RCMP spokesperson Cpl. James Grandy says officers stormed a home on Jenkins Road, carrying out a search warrant related to a drug and weapon investigation.

Once inside, officers found and seized ammunition, cash and substances suspected to be illegal drugs.

Two people, described as well known to police, were arrested. No one was hurt in the raid.
