Rockets hammer Blazers in Kelowna

KELOWNA — Andrew Cristall had a seven-point night for the Rockets in a 9-1 throttling of the Kamloops Blazers on Friday (March 8) in WHL action in Kelowna.
Blake Swetlikoff was the lone goal scorer for the Blazers (20-36-3-3), whose goaltender, Jesse Sanche, allowed nine goals on 40 shots in defeat.
Kelowna (30-28-3-1) netminder Jari Kykkanen made 31 saves to pick up the victory between the pipes.
The Blazers will play host to the rematch on Saturday (March 9), a 6 p.m. start at Sandman Centre.
