Shuswap Outpatient Lab temporarily closed due to flood damage repairs

SALMON ARM, B.C. — Patients at the Shuswap Outpatient Lab are being told of temporary changes to the lab’s hours this week.

In a news release, Interior Health says lab services will be unavailable Monday (March 4) and Tuesday as the Shuswap Outpatient Lab undergoes repair and restoration following flood damage.

Patients with appointments during the two days will be contacted by Interior Health regarding their revised booking. Those patients with existing bookings, as well as walk-in patients, will be redirected to lab services at one of the following locations:

  • Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Enderby Community Health Centre Lab – 7:40 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Pleasant Valley Health Centre Lab, Armstrong – 7:40 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Sicamous Health Centre Lab – 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Vernon Jubilee Hospital – 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
