Two Kamloops locals charged in Wednesday weapons incident in Brocklehurst
KAMLOOPS — RCMP say two Kamloops men have been charged after Wednesday’s (Feb. 28) weapons incident and police manhunt on the North Shore and in Brocklehurst.
In a news release issued Friday, Supt. Jeff Pelley says 27-year-old Austin Alexander Neil Eyres and 26-year-old Kenneth Robert Hockley are each facing a list of charges.
Pelley says the men are being held in custody for their next court date on March 13.
During the noon hour Wednesday, RCMP members were called to the 1700-block of Parkcrest Avenue for the report of an assault and threats with a weapon.
