B.C. Hydro investigating outage in Clinton Friday

CLINTON, B.C. — UPDATE: The outage has largely been rectified.

EARLIER: BC Hydro personnel are responding to an outage affecting the village of Clinton Friday (Feb. 16).

According to the power utility’s website, the power went out to 718 customers at about 11:15 a.m. It stretches southwest to Kelly Lake.

Crews were expected to arrive on scene at about 12:30 p.m.

The cause of the outage is not yet known, and thus an estimated time of restoration is not available.
