KAMLOOPS — RCMP have released images of the suspects in a Sahali residential break-in over the weekend.

In a news release, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says the break-in happened in the early afternoon Sunday (Feb. 11).

At about 2:40 p.m. Sunday, the residents of a home in the 300-block of Gleneagles Drive called police, saying they had just returned home to find evidence of the break-in. The owners had only been away from the home for about two hours.

“When the residents returned home, they discovered someone had forced entry into their home and a number of items were stolen, including jewelry, cash, credit cards, an electric bike and identification,” said Evelyn. “The Forensic Identification Services (FIS) Unit attended and collected evidence as part of the ongoing investigation.”

The owners posted surveillance photos of the suspects and the vehicle they were using online. Evelyn says RCMP have also obtained security images from a gas station on Rogers Way, where someone used one of the stolen credit cards.

“We are releasing images of a man, woman, and a Ford truck, in the hopes that someone will be able to identify them or provide more information to help further the investigation,” added Evelyn.

The truck is a newer model Ford F-150.

In the social media post, the occupant of the home says the stolen items include heirloom jewelry and passports. The owner adds the culprits tried to use one of the stolen credit cards at a McDonald’s restaurant in Langley.

The post also claims there is a third suspect — a woman with blonde hair — and shows several additional photos that were not shared to media by RCMP.

Anyone with information on the break-in is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and refer to file number 2024-4259.
