Okanagan Connector closed overnight following serious vehicle incident
UPDATE (11 a.m.): One patient was sent to hospital following Tuesday’s vehicle incident on the Okanagan Connector.
BC Emergency Health Services say four ambulances responded to the scene on Highway 97C at Kane Valley Road at around 7:35 p.m. Tuesday.
Ryan Panton, the manager of strategic communications and media relations with the B.C. Coroners Service, told CFJC Today he’s unaware of any coroners involvement at this time.
EARLIER: MERRITT, B.C. — The Okanagan Connector east of Merritt remains closed in both directions Wednesday (Jan. 24) morning.
