Blazers fall 7-2 to Victoria Royals

VICTORIA — The Kamloops Blazers are in Victoria this weekend to face the Royals. Last night (Jan. 20), the team dropped a 7-2 decision.

Harrison Brunicke and Kai Matthew scored one goal each for the Blazers. Jesse Sanche faced 22 shots in the loss, while Branden Holt saved 26 shots for Victoria.

Kamloops will have a chance to redeem themselves this afternoon (Jan. 21) in a rematch against the Royals set to start at 3:05 p.m.
