Kamloops man believed to be seen in Mission Flats days before being reported missing

KAMLOOPS — A 32-year-old Kamloops man was believed to have been seen in Mission Flats days before he was reported missing.

Kyle Ferg was reported missing to Kamloops RCMP on Nov. 17, 2023, after his family didn’t hear from him for more than a week. His cellphone was also found in McArthur Island Park.

In a news release issued Friday (Jan. 19) morning, Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says police have since found video believed to be of Ferg riding a bike near the pumphouse on Mission Flats Road on Saturday, Nov. 11 at around 7:35 a.m.

The person believed to be Kyle is wearing a grey hoodie with a red logo on the front, black coat, mask or scarf, grey pants and a black backpack.

Ferg is described as a white man standing 6’ and weighing 130 lbs. He has brown hair, hazel eyes and the following tattoos:

• The word ‘Bassanese’ on his right forearm
• ‘In God’s hands’ on his chest
• An animal on his upper arm
