RAW VIDEO: Out-of-control semi nearly strikes snowplow west of Revelstoke

REVELSTOKE, B.C. — Dashcam video posted to social media shows an extremely close call between a commercial truck and a snowplow near Revelstoke Thursday morning (Jan. 18).

The post to the Skilled Truckers Canada Facebook page places the incident on the Trans Canada Highway near Clanwilliam Lake west of Revelstoke at about 8:20 a.m. Thursday.

The video, taken from a trailing truck, shows an eastbound semi attempting to negotiate a curve to the left.

The semi enters the westbound lane, jackknifes, then nearly hits an oncoming snowplow head on.

Significantly slowed, the truck then strikes an oncoming small SUV.

There is no word if there were any injuries in the incident.
