Custom horse saddle reported missing from Lillooet area

LILLOOET, B.C. — Lillooet RCMP are asking for the public to keep their eyes peeled for a horse saddle that was stolen earlier this month.

In a news release issued Tuesday (Jan. 16), police say a couple reported one of their custom saddles was stolen from their property on Texas Creek Road while they were on holidays. The couple reported it missing on Jan. 2.

The saddle is described as having a brown and tan colour with “CM” stitched on the back. The saddle had a marking: “Cariboo Saddlery Maker Williams Lake B.C.”

Anyone with information on the saddle’s whereabouts is asked to contact Lillooet RCMP.
