Blazers snap losing skid with 4-3 win over Wild

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers snapped their seven-game losing streak Tuesday (Jan. 16) night.

Defenceman Harrison Brunicke scored the Blazers’ first goal and played hero and scored the overtime winner en route to a 4-3 win over the Wenatchee Wild.

The Blazers improve their record to 10-27-3-2 on the 2023-24 Western Hockey League (WHL) season, good for 25 points in 42 games. However, they remain at the bottom of the overall WHL standings.

The Blazers continue their six-game road trip Friday on Vancouver Island when they visit the Victoria Royals.
