Blazers fall to Silvertips

KAMLOOPS — It wasn’t the best weekend for the Kamloops Blazers. After losing 8-2 on Friday (Jan.12) night on home ice, the team fell 4-1 yesterday (Jan. 13) to the Everett Silvertips.

Ryan Michael had the lone goal for the Blazers with assists from Kai Matthew and Ashton Ferster. Jesse Sanche saved 54 shots in the loss, while Ethan Chadwick saved 21 shots for the Silvertips.

The team now gets ready to face the Portland Winterhawks tomorrow (Jan. 15) at 2 p.m.
