TRU lose to Calgary Dinos

KAMLOOPS — The Thompson Rivers WolfPack men’s and women’s volleyball team are in Calgary this weekend playing against the Dinos.

The women couldn’t keep up with the No. 5 team in the conference and lost 129-30. Olivia Randall led the shorthanded WolfPack with 12 points, while Priyanca Sundher added seven.

Meanwhile, the men fell short, losing 98-83. Denys Bachurin led the team with 19 points. Returning for the first time since suffering an arm injury during the preseason, Asher Mayan scored nine points.

The WolfPack wrap up their weekend against the Dinos later today (Jan. 13), with the women playing at 5 p.m. while the men take the court at 7 p.m.
