Blazers’ Brunicke among top-ranked prospects in North America

KAMLOOPS — Central Scouting’s Midterm Ranking of players eligible for this summer’s NHL Entry Draft has recognized a Kamloops Blazer.

Defenceman Harrison Brunicke slots in at 67 among North American skaters on the list.

The Calgary-born Brunicke, who will turn 18 on May 8, has 14 points in 35 games for the Blazers this season.

Brunicke will compete in the CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Moncton, New Brunswick on January 24.

Fresh off trading three veterans ahead of this week’s trade deadline, the Blazers return to action on home ice Friday night (Jan. 12) against Everett. Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m. at Sandman Centre.
