Blazers fall 6-2 to the Hitmen

KAMLOOPS – The Kamloops Blazers welcomed the Calgary Hitmen last night (Jan. 5) but couldn’t secure a victory, losing 6-2 on home ice.

Shea Van Olm and Kai Matthew scored the goals for the Blazers. Jesse Sanche faced 42 shots in the loss, while Ethan Buenaventura saved 27 shots for the Hitmen.

The Blazers will now get ready to face the Everett Silvertips next Friday (Jan. 12) inside Sandman Centre.
