Fog advisory issued for the Cariboo

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — A fog advisory is in effect for residents in the Cariboo Thursday (Dec. 7) morning.

Environment Canada says there’s near zero visibility due to fog is expected for the Cariboo, including Williams Lake.

The weather agency says fog is expected to lift by midday Thursday but patches of fog may linger until the afternoon.

Drivers are encouraged to turn their lights on and maintain a safe distance if their visibility is reduced while driving in the fog.
