Red Bridge undergoing nightly closures for maintenance

KAMLOOPS —Drivers looking to cross the South Thompson River during the evening in the middle of the week will need to plan ahead.
In a social media post, the City of Kamloops says the Red Bridge on Mount Paul Way will be closed nightly from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. until Thursday, Dec. 7 due to maintenance.
A detour will be available via Yellowhead Bridge. Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible and obey traffic control personnel.
