Kamloops Blazers sign 2005-born forward Kai Matthew

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers have announced the signing of forward Kai Matthew from the Drumheller Dragons of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL).
In a release issued Monday (Nov. 27), the club stated the 2005-born player was selected in the fifth round of the 2020 WHL prospects draft to a WHL scholarship and development agreement.
Matthew is from Edmonton and has tallied 21 points in 25 games this season with the Dragons.
The 5’11’’, 175-lb forward will join the Blazers in Victoria, and is set to make his WHL debut on Tuesday night.
