WolfPack struggle against Bisons
KAMLOOPS — It was another night of heartbreak for a Thompson Rivers WolfPack men’s and women’s volleyball teams when they faced the Manitoba Bisons last night (Nov. 25).
The women started strong, winning the first set of the game. However, the Bisons fought back and secured a 3-1 victory.
.”We didn’t have that fearlessness that we needed,” said WolfPack head coach Chad Grimm. “We had some struggles to refocus tonight, we got stuck at points tonight on our own individual mistakes and put ourselves on our own little islands at times, which is a lonely place to be in a team sport.”
On the men side, the team put up a good fight. The match was the fifth time in ten games this season that the ‘Pack have gone to five sets. Despite the effort, the ‘Pack lost 3-2.
