Kamloops Storm drop Tuesday night decision to Revelstoke
KAMLOOPS — No midweek magic for the Kamloops Storm as they dropped a Tuesday night special at McArthur Island 3-1 to the visiting Revelstoke Grizzlies.
Revelstoke seemingly has the Storm’s number, defeating the Kamloops squad for the second time this month on the road, following a 6-0 final on November 5.
It was all Grizzlies early as they would jump out of a 3-0 lead curtesy of goals from Cole Fartner, Kuy Schmirler and Jett Patola before the Storm finally answered in the final stanza.
Josef Kuchaslo netted the lone marker for Kamloops in the loss, Colton Phillip-Watts made 36 saves in defeat. Kamloops is now 14-6 on the year.
